- 2 slices white bread
- 1 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 jalapeno
- 3 slices bacon
- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp butter
Cheese…cheese…bacon…more cheese… jalapenos what could be better than that? Not much. That’s why this jalapeno popper grilled cheese sandwich is easily the most amazing sandwich I’ve ever made. This sandwich was a close second though, and probably a lot better for you.
A “jalapeno popper” for those of you who are not familiar is essentially a jalapeno pepper stuffed with cream cheese and cheddar cheese, battered and deep fried and often wrapped in bacon. This jalapeno popper grilled cheese sandwich effectively combines all of those ingredients inside two beautiful toasty pieces of white bread.
Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese Sandwich
2 slices white bread
1 tbsp cream cheese
3 slices bacon
2 slices cheddar cheese
1 tsp butter
Cook bacon thoroughly, set aside.
Butter both pieces of white bread generously.
In a skillet over medium heat, place one slice of bread.
Lay 2 pieces of cheddar cheese, jalapeno slices, 3 slices of bacon on bread.
On second piece of bread spread cream cheese.
Add second piece of bread, grill until golden brown on both sides and serve.
It really doesn’t get better than this you guys. Eating this jalapeno popper grilled cheese sandwich will forever go down in history as one of my favourite moments in life. Seriously.
