What You’ll Need

2 Tablespoons of Butter
2 Tablespoons Flour
1 cup milk
Add whatever flavoring your heart desires!

How to Make it

Melt your butter in a deep pan on medium heat.
Add your flour, cook the flour for 4-5 minutes to get rid of the bitter flour taste
Add your milk in 1/3 of a cup at a time, stir it well before adding in the next splash!
Add in your flavor, I used garlic powder – you can add cheese and make a creamy cheese sauce, bacon, onion – anything!

After Thoughts

Apparently this is something you’re supposed to learn in home economics back in middle school – I must have missed the memo because  I just learned how to make this a week ago! I’m so excited that I know how now because the possibilities of this sauce are endless! I’m sure you’ll see it in many more of my recipes to come down the road!
