• 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tsp fresh chopped ginger root
  • 2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • Pepper to taste
  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup all purpose flour

This recipe for sweet and spicy chicken could quite possibly be the best thing I’ve ever made, and it’s extremely simple.

Mix your brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, hot sauce, ginger and garlic in a small bowel. I let mine refrigerate for a few hours so the flavours melded together nicely, but you don’t have to.

Dice your chicken breasts into even squares. Dredge the pieces in pepper flour.

Heat your olive oil in a pan over medium heat until it just starts to bubble, don’t let your oil smoke.

Add your chicken to the oil and brown for 1 minute on each side.

Pour over your sauce and simmer, covered for 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally while sauce thickens.

Serve over rice!

Enjoy! Please don’t forget to share this recipe with your friends.
